Daniel grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, and after graduating from Florida College he taught elementary school in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In 2014, he moved to Texas to begin a preaching internship at the Kleinwood church, and he and Elizabeth (who grew up at Decker Prairie) married at the end of that year. For the last eight years, he has been working with the Bellaire church in Houston and also periodically teaches as an adjunct professor for Houston Christian University in their dual-enrollment program. Daniel and Elizabeth have two children: Asher (4) and Lucy (2).
